Buddy Ball 

PJL is thrilled to announce the launch of the Buddy Ball League for the 2023 season!


Buddy Ball is an adaptive ball program specifically designed to empower children with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.

2023 Dixie Youth League Bat Rules

*** BBCOR BATS CAN NOW BE PLAYED IN DIXIE YOUTH ****

The BBCOR certification must be stamped on a 2 5/8” -3 barrel bat, and meet other DYB bat requirements shown below:(1) All 2 5/8” BBCOR bats shall not exceed more than 33” in length. (2) The handle of any bat may have a gripping material not to exceed 16” from the knob. (3) A composite bat must be a safe unit of multi-material construction. NOTE: All 2 ¾” barrel bats are prohibited from play in all divisions of Dixie Youth Baseball.

Dixie Youth is required to adhere to bat guidelines set forth by USA Baseball Standards.  All PJL baseball players will be required to use bats that have the "USA Baseball" stamp or "BBCOR" directly on the bat.  These new bats are now on sale online and at local sporting goods stores.  

Question:  Can my child use a BPF 1.15 stamped bat?

Answer:  No.  It must have the USA Baseball stamp on the bat.

Question: What size barrels can we use?

Answer:  Either 2 1/4" or 2 5/8"

Question:  Are wood bats legal at PJL?

Answer: Yes.  They must be one piece wood bats.  Cannot be composite wood bats. ex:  Bamboo
